Avril Lavigne has a full name Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley, born on September 27, 1984 in the town of Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Avril is the second child of the couple John Lavigne (father) and Judy Lavigne (mother), avril had a brother named Matt Lavigne and has two younger sister Michelle Lavigne and Lavigne Vitha.

Since the two-year-old Avril was already singing. At the age of 5 years old Avril and his family moved to town Napanee. Avril never enter a contest to sing in the touring singer Shania Twain, Avril won the contest by singing a song called What Made You Say That in the year 1998.

At the age of 16 years old Avril officially contracted by the label Arista for her first album Let Go.

Career

Avril brought a new look and sound to the entertainment industry. She incorporates punk, pop, rock, alternative rock, post-grunge, and powerpop into her albums. Avril contributes a lot to her albums. She is an amazing songwriter. She not only sings, but she also plays different musical instruments. Her voice is amazing and so is her playing talent. She plays the electric guitar, drums, piano, and acoustic guitar.

Music career began with the release of Avril Lavigne's first album, entitled Let Go on June 4, 2002. Let Go album well received by the world community and the success and sold more than 17 million copies worldwide. Inside the album Let Go was a song there are several hits singles including Complicated, Sk8ter Boi, I'm With You Losing Grip successful and the first position in several countries including Australia, Canada, England and occupied the second position in the United States.

Avril's second album, entitled Under My Skin was released on May 25, 2004. The album also successfully sell more than 12 million copies worldwide. In this album there are several hits singles including songs Do not Tell Me, My Happy Ending, Nobody's Home and others.

On her third album Avril changed image to be more girly and cheerful in a singing style and fashion. The third album is titled The Best Damn Thing and has hits that also track successful singles around the world, among others, Girlfriend, The Best Damn Thing, Hot and When You're Gone. She is currently working on a fourth album that is due to be released sometime this summer.

Recently Avril fill Alice In Wonderland movie soundtrack with the single entitled Alice. Avril also previously been filled with single Eragon movie soundtrack, titled Keep Holding On. Not only fill a movie soundtrack, it turns out Avril also has acting talent. This is evidenced by its participation acting in various films such as Over The Hedge (as the voice), The Flock, Fast Food Nation. Avril has also appeared on Television, her most current act on television was appearing as a guest judge on the hit show American Idol. Her fame and talent made her a very qualified guest for the show. She has also appeared on episodes from shows Saturday Night Live, MadTv, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Not only as a singer, songwriter, actress and model but Avril was also penetrated the business world. Her entrepreneurship shows through in her clothing line and perfume line. She designs clothes for her brand called Abbey Dawn. Her fragrance is called Black Star and is sold throughout Europe and North America and her new fragnance is called Forbidden Rose and now available in stores across Europe, It will also be available in North America this August, exclusively at Kohls.

Personal Life

Avril is a figure that has a high concern. Avril has carried out many acts of caring, such as Make Some Noisw, Amnesty International, Camp Will-a-way, music minefield clearing, U.S. Campaign for Burma, Make-a-Wish Foundation and War Child. and Avril also provide support for AIDS sufferers around the world via Aldo ads. Avril is also working on a social institution called Reverb, Avril never sang knocking On Heavens Door (Guns N 'Roses song) to a charity.

Avril has a star tattoo on her left wrist and a small heart-shaped tattoo with the initials of the letter reads D (Derick Whibley, SUM 41) in his right wrist. Avril was married to Derick Whibley on 15 July 2006, but the marriage did not last long. Avril filed for divorce against her husband because she felt her household could no longer be saved. That is a reason this singer in a divorce lawsuit.

Avril is currently in a relationship with Brody Jenner. When Avril partied at the Bank nightclub in Las Vegas at the weekend and announced over the microphone that she was in love, shouting "I love you, Brody!".
